This evening I made the most of the beautiful spring light we have been getting whilst in South Devon. Torquay is a beautiful location for some sunset photography and I think this image speaks a thousand words.
Tonight was once of the mildest evenings of the year so far and it almost felt like a mid-summers eve and I have been lucky enough to be here in Dartmouth in South Devon capturing some of the beauty of the local area. This evening I was walking about Windermere in the Lake District looking to capture the beautiful town in a different light! I started shooting at 7pm and it did not take long until I found a composition that worked for me.
Sometimes getting up at 5am is very worthwhile, especially when you are in beautiful Pembrokeshire! This image of Tenby lifeboat station was taken at 6am today. What a start to a magnificent day! Tonight I took the opportunity to photograph the sunset at Druidstone beach in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Although the sunset was uninspiring, it made for some nice transient light and I was happy with this image. Tonight was the summer solstice and I was on location at Saltwick Bay, near Whitby in North Yorkshire. The light was extremely transient and the gorgeous sunset gave a great opportunity to photograph this scene which is The Wreck of the Admiral Von Tromp, with Black Nab in the background.
Tonight I have been shooting the sunset at Bedruthan Steps in North Cornwall, near Newquay. The horizon was very misty and the visibility was less than 50% so this is the only shot I could get in such poor conditions.
Tonight I trekked up Haystacks (Innominate Tarn), to get a shot looking out to Buttermere and Crammock Water, Lake District. Last Night. This shot was taken just after Sunset where the sky turned this beautiful pink and baby blue. This image is untouched, the only filters used where to slow down the exposure to get calm water. This was a hard climb over 4 miles with over 30kgs of gear, but very worth while. It will take a lot to beat […]
I have been working in the Lake District this week, and last night took advantage of the most beautiful sunset over Rydal Water. As you can see it was a gorgeous evening in the lakes.
