I am very lucky to now have a Nikon D5 in my possession so I thought I would take the opportunity to get to grips with the beast and see what I can get from it.
Whilst taking a short walk with the camera I came across this beautiful Robin sitting perched ready for a shot! As you can see the clarity produced by this camera is beautiful and the 12 frame per second (14 fps mirror up) with the blisteringly fast new AF system is incredible and makes subject tracking a lot easier!
My very first impressions are this camera is going to be a game changer! Worth every penny of the £5,199.00 price tag!
The lens used for this shot was the new Nikon 200 – 500 f5.6 VR and the settings were as follows:
500mm Focal Length, 1/1000 Shutter Speed, ISO 500, f5.6 (mid-day sun)
